Accused the State and Central Government for adopting a 'Nelson's Eye' towards the plight of exiled Kashmiri Pandits who have been languishing in migrant camps in Jammu and other parts of the country since 1990. Sanjay Dhar State president of Manvadhikar National Party asserted that the community has been deprived of even basic amenities whereas their permanent rehabilitation was still a distant dream. Interacting the MNP with educated unemployed youth from the exiled community revealed that much talked about Prime Minister's employment package was not properly implemented and remaining 3000 posts have not been fulfilled so far.
Sh Sanjay Dhar, State President of MNP took the Government to task for its failure to provide adequate cash assistance to eligible migrants who were getting a meagre Rs 2500/- per month per soul besides a few kgs of rice and wheat. Dhar said that
Keeping in view the price rise of essential commodities Government must enhance the cash assistance to Rs. 5000/- per soul per month. Dhar demanded rehabilitation of the displaced community by creating - township in Anantnag, Srinagar and Baramulla districts besides a compensation of Rs 50 lakh to each migrant family," Dhar maintained that the Jagti transit camp has turned out to be poorly constructed clusters which have developed cracks in ceilings and inner and outer walls and there was leakages from roofs.
